The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member accused of raping and sexually assaulting a woman at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2006 is admitting to abusing others as well, according to a former employee of the comedian’s law firm.
A new affidavit filed Monday by Amber Tamblyn reveals the accuser told a detective that she was abused and raped by Cosby when she was 14 years old.
In a statement, Tamblynn, the former “SNL” executive producer and executive producer of “The Cosby Show,” said she was “horrified” by the accusations and had “never had the strength to fight back.”
In the statement, she also said she is “disgusted by the way that the Cosby family has been portrayed” and accused Cosby of being “out of control” and of lying about the incident.
The statement also included screenshots from the affidavit, in which Tamblan said she met Cosby for lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Dec. 5, 2006.
Cosby was “extremely friendly” and “entertained,” she said, but later said he became “very distant” and didn’t show up for the lunch.
She also said Cosby “asked for a picture and offered to pay for my flight to Los Angeles.
He then left.”
She said she told her mother that she had been raped at the hotel.
Amber Tamblen, the “SNLS” executive who was fired in 2018 after the allegations surfaced, said in a statement that she “did not have the strength or courage” to stand up to Cosby.
The actress also accused Cosby and the family of lying to her about the allegations.
“I have always been clear with my family that these allegations are absolutely false and have no place in my family and my career,” Tamblin said.
Tamblyn also claimed Cosby “wanted me to be his slave and used me as his sexual property.”
The statement said Cosby has denied the allegations and that “he has never harmed or sexually harassed anyone in his life.”
Tamblynn said she wants to take back the legacy of “SNLP” by not only helping Cosby’s family, but also her friends.
“It’s my mission to do the right thing and not just protect him, but to put an end to the false allegations of abuse that have been spread about him,” she wrote.
