We are upgrading our Network hardware to provide improved security and performance.

In addition, techies will be checking and testing server clusters and all switches so there may be small increments of downtime.

At the same time, our website server hardware upgrade will be taking place in the next 24-48 hours, we’re installing new Dell Power Edge Servers.

Websites are not expected to experience any significant outage, however there is a chance access to both the support and the members area sites could be down briefly as new the new IP address migrates.

The new servers will offer twice the amount of memory, processor speed & IO as before required for the increased web traffic.

Hey Guys,

There is the problem with latest version Max OS X 10.6.5 and latest Adobe Flash Player. Latest Mac OSX and latest Adobe Flash Player are not compatible

An updated solution was posted on adobe’s site, which will resolve any problems you are having on Mac. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Go to http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html
2. Download the plug-in for 32-bit Mac OS X32-bit (DMG, 5.5 MB )

Alternatively, as a temporarily solution Mac users can install beta version of Adobe Flash Player from Adobe labs:

http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/

The one downside with the beta, iSight webcam quality is poor!

Please note that this is only a temporary solution until Adobe release an official 10.2 Flash Player Version.

According to a statement from SEACOM, SEA-ME-WE 4, which stretches from southeast Asia to Europe via the Indian Sub-Continent and Middle East, was initially scheduled to undergo repairs in the Mediterranean Sea on April 17, but the work was rescheduled to April 24. But by Monday of this week, service had yet to resume.

“The ongoing repair work is affecting several cable systems and has impacted negatively on the overall Internet connectivity in many regions across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, which rely to some extent on the availability of the SEA-ME-WE 4 cable for global connectivity,” said the press statement on SEACOM’s Web site.

Although SEACOM says it is working with some operators to route the capacity to an Internet access point in India, the repair work is managed and controlled by SEA-ME-WE 4, which has indicated that the repair window may be extended to this Friday.

The slow connectivity has raised issues of local content and hosting, as most ISPs grappled with reduced capacity on satellite, compared to what is usually provided via fiber.

Due to the failure in SMW4 cable system at Italia Palermo (submarine cable network), there may be congestion in the internet traffic to Europe & East coast of US.

The repair work already been commenced & would get completed by 30th April, 2010. There may be partial disruption in service to certain web sites & may experience slow connectivity during this period.

In addition, we know some of our South American customers are also effected with latency issues and in some cases connectivity.
